Thorough Electrostatic Disinfection Services
We take disinfecting cleaning services very seriously at Gray Facilities Management, which is why we use an electrostatic sprayer to better disinfect your commercial space or medical facility. If someone in your facility becomes ill, you need reliable disinfection services to make your workplace safer.
What makes electrostatic disinfection so effective? Compared to other cleaning methods like spray-and-wipe disinfection, fogging and UV light treatments, electrostatic spraying is cost-effective and there’s evidence to show that an electrostatic disinfectant application system applies disinfectant more evenly than other methods.
These spray guns are modified with electrodes that charge the liquid disinfectant particles. This charge guides the liquid disinfectant particles to an oppositely charged target like your tabletops, desks, keyboards and exam tables.
Our disinfection services team follows all Centers for Disease Control (CDC) protocol so you can trust we are killing as many bacteria and virus particles as we possibly can.
Meticulous Attention to High-Touch Surfaces
Once our disinfection services team completes the electrostatic disinfection of your space, we begin a careful wipe down of all high-touch surfaces in your facility. This touchpoint cleaning is an extra step to ensure that our disinfection services are as thorough as possible—for your safety.
What kinds of high-touch surfaces do we sanitize during our touchpoint cleaning process?
- Tables and desks
- Doorknobs
- Light switches
- Handles
- Toilets (all surfaces)
- Faucets and sinks
- Hard bathroom surfaces
- Countertops
- Phones (the receiver, cradle and buttons)
- Keyboards and computer mouse
- Diaper changing stations
In hospitals and medical facilities, this also includes sanitizing of CDC-identified high-touch surfaces:
- Bed rails and frames.
- Movable lamps.
- Tray tables and bedside tables.
- Handles.
- IV poles.
- Blood pressure cuffs.
- Bathroom door handles.
Extra Precautions to Keep Your Facility Safe
We care about keeping your facility clean and hygienic, which means that we take all kinds of extra precautions when it comes to our staff. Not only do we do this because we care about the wellness of our qualified team of professionals and we want them to stay healthy, but we want to do everything we can to prevent cross-contamination in your facility too.
Our staff wears personal protective equipment (PPE) when performing disinfection cleaning services to keep your facility germ free. This includes gloves, KN-95 masks, and 3M respiratory masks. They also wash their hands often, and use hand sanitizer when possible.
Our employees are required to take their temperature before beginning a shift. We also screen them by asking the CDC-recommended questions daily. Any employee who shows symptoms cannot return to work until they have been tested. If diagnosed, employees can return to work under the following conditions:
- Their symptoms have improved
- They have been fever-free for 3 or more days
- It has been at least 10 days since their symptoms appeared.
